Garnet 2.77 g

An exceptionally fine, vividly colored, and very bright garnet from Tanzania (you might even call it “open color,” lol). On one edge, there are a couple of crystal inclusions that should probably be cut out, but it’s not a big deal. In addition, a few needle-like inclusions are present, though they’re only visible under magnification and with side lighting. Overall, it’s a very beautiful stone.
